Photo preparation and measurement for your hair transplant consultation

For a complete, personalized assessment of your case, please share a set of photos and a simple measurement before your consultation. It can all be done from home in under 10 minutes.

Part 1

Before you take your photos

Clean, dry hair
Clean, dry hairWash it as usual and let it dry. No gel or cream.
Good lighting
Good lightingNatural light or a well-lit room. Avoid backlighting.
Plain background
Plain backgroundStand in front of a solid-color wall.
No accessories
No accessoriesRemove caps, headbands or scarves before the photos.
Vertical camera
Vertical cameraTake the photos holding your phone vertically for better quality.

All 4 photos are required*. Preferably taken with your phone held vertically; you may ask for help with the back views. Tap each button to take the photo or attach an existing one.

Part 3

Donor area measurement

The donor area is the strip of hair at the back, between the nape and the mid-scalp. Measure its vertical width in centimeters.

  1. Get a ruler or measuring tape.
  2. Stand in front of a mirror or ask for help.
  3. Find the central point at the back of your head.
  4. Measure from where the hair ends at the nape up to where it starts to look thinner above.
  5. Write that number below.

If no one can help, tilt your head forward and use a handheld mirror. It doesn't need to be exact to the millimeter — an approximate measurement is enough.

Your details

Tell us in your own words: when the hair loss started and how it has progressed, whether it runs in your family, and any previous treatments or hair surgeries. Also your medical background: underlying conditions, medications you currently take, allergies, and whether you use tobacco or alcohol.
